Colorado Corn met and toured Mission Foods in Pueblo on Thursday, to identify if there were ways to partner with the Company, considering their use of corn. This Mission Foods plant is one of 19 facilities throughout the United States and is considered to be mid-size; producing Retail/table corn, Food Service and Fried Chips. These are not the ONLY three products this plant produces, however these are the three main categories. They also produce many specialty products that fall within these three categories. Many amazing and interesting facts were obtained, including the fact that this plant brings 260-270 jobs to Pueblo. Turns out this plant buys all their corn alrady as ground corn flour from Azteca Milling, who we plan to get in touch with next.
